Big day!!!
Today Teagan went to meet Daddy for lunch at Panera! Big day. It went well. She was a bit fussy and then just sat in the stroller while I shoveled food in my mood, I swear its a race against time before she needs to eat. I tried to plan lunch where we could sit and enjoy ourselves....right....before I knew it I was half done eating and Teagan wanted to eat....fun times. So, I inhaled the food and fed her. The joys of motherhood....honest, I wouldnt change it for the world. She is our everything. Tomorrow I am leaving her with Steve's mom while I go for my 4 week check up.....WOW 4 weeks already.....WELL, I better go someone is hungry again!!! haha.

Teagn enters the world
Hello all,
I am going to try and update Teagan's blog a few times a week. I would like to introduce you to our beautiful baby girl Teagan McGuire Loftus. She was born on April 18th at 9:45 pm. I was in labor for 18 hours before having a c-section. I had all these great plans for her birth; no epideral and all natural. After 10 hours and no progression (after my water breaking) the midwife prescribed Patosin (sp?)....fun times.....NOT! Then I decided to get an epideral....I was so tired b/c we were up since 1:45 the night before (Friday). The epideral was scary and painful but it let me rest. Next, Steve and I spent some time together talking, watching TV and reading magazine. Thanks for the magazines mom! hours went by.....the midwife checked me.....nothing....she was not progressing down the birth canal...SHE WAS STUCK....ugh. Then the dreaded conversation...C-section. It was so scary. To this day I still do not understand why people would want a c-section. Crazy. The recovery was bad for the first 2 weeks. Each day is getting better, but I am almost 4 weeks in recovery and am still really sore. I would do it all over again to have Teagan here healthy and happy. I love her more than words can say. She is a blessing.
